Master of proportion

Piero_Lissoni
“When starting a design project, I never wake up in the morning with one incredible, brilliant and revolutionary idea. It is a day-by-day discussion with the team. And it is not only my personal team. I think what matters most in the creative process is the dialogue with the factory team, the engineers and the many more players that contribute with their expertise. As a designer, I want to be involved in the whole procedure and I want to be able to intervene in the making process.”

Wardrobe, yes wardrobe Atrium for Lema. The designer has decided to remove sides and facades. The concept has been termed SIDE + LESS. The Greek atriums were quite spacious. I remember I have written the whole work about interior decoration of ancient Greece. In this Atrium, everything is hung up with a thin aluminum profile (8 mm), so wall is the only thing we need

Piero Lissoni has earned a series of international awards, including the Red Dot, Good Design and Oscar Compasso d’Oro.

There is a residence of the architect in Tuscany on the video. He created it in the same way as a surrounding houses, mixing concrete with soil. The right place to work, for instance.
